MLWorks®

Harlequin's MLWorks® is a complete implementation of Standard ML, with a unique Windows-based programming environment. As such, it is ideally placed to meet the needs of teaching, research and industry in the nineties.

The compiler provides strict conformance to the formal definition of Standard ML (SML). In addition, MLWorks® includes an integral make system to facilitate the building of large and/or stand-alone applications. Compatability options are provided to support code from other ML compilers. The run time system is supplied with a state-of-the-art generational garbage collector. Libraries are provided supporting graphics, threads and the revised initial basis.
